Stardance Event Center is an incredibly beautiful setting for any fantastic event and this year, the center will provide the perfect venue for a spring fund raiser. Sanctuary Cove and Stardance Event Center are Scenic Drive neighbors and both organizations are dedicated to preserving the beauty of this stunning location. Tucson Wildlife Center provide a fun activity for kids to make a bat to take home with them. They will also show the ways that their volunteers take care of wildlife that have been injured and need rehabilitation and treatment before being released back into the wild.
Create your own "Habitat at Home" to add beauty and pollinator refuges right in your own garden! The Sunflower Warbler Supporters will also be offering an easy demo on how to build a Lucy's Warbler nesting box and encourage these vanishing songbirds to live and nest in your yard.
The Natural Resource Division of NRPR will bring an interactive trailer display that provides tips and tools for everyone in our community to live in harmony with our desert animals and ecosystem.
Borderlands Restoration Network will offer a selection of locally sourced native species including milkweed which is crucial for Monarch Butterfly survival, agave for bats and bee-friendly plants as well.
The United States Fish and Wildlife Service is an agency of the US federal government within the US Department of the Interior dedicated to the management of fish, wildlife, and natural habitats.
Members of our Support Group, Friends of Sanctuary Cove, will help kids paint on river rocks for a memorable reminder of how they are connected to the natural world. Acrylic paints will be used to depict a bird, bee or bat on a keepsake rock to take home.
One-pound jars of the most delicious local honey will be available for purchase.
Odaiko Sonora, Tucson's Taiko Troupe, will present a workshop for kids.
