Celebrate 70 Years of Peace at Sanctuary Cove
On December 15, 2025, Sanctuary Cove will celebrate the 70th anniversary of our beloved Chapel — a place of quiet beauty and reflection in the heart of the Sonoran Desert.
The founding members of All Creeds Brotherhood, Inc., envisioned this sacred land — the ancestral homeland of the Tohono O’odham people — as a perpetual sanctuary for all.
Our mission remains true to their vision:
“To provide to the public a place to step apart from the world’s pressures — creating a natural environment that promotes reflection, prayer, meditation, and peace.”
Since 1957, this guiding purpose has inspired us to preserve and share this land for generations to come. Visitors often describe the Chapel’s atmosphere as deeply spiritual — a cherished space for weddings, memorials, and quiet contemplation.
A New Light for the Chapel
In honor of this milestone, and thanks to an exceptionally generous donor, we are installing four handcrafted stained-glass windows in the Chapel’s original casements.
Created by Tucson Stained Glass, these pieces represent the four elements — Air, Earth, Fire, and Water — and will fill the Chapel with renewed color and light.

Restoration Volunteers Needed!
We need EIGHT willing volunteers to work each weekend in November to prepare the 70-year-old steel casement windows for their new stained glass panels. Each volunteer will receive a unique tee as our thanks, along with plenty of snacks and our endless thanks. Email TODAY to sign up for a volunteer time slot!
Services and Activities
Sanctuary Cove is open to the public 365 days a year, rain or shine, from sunrise to sunset. Feel free to explore the property, our meditative labyrinth, pray, and meditate in our non-denominational Chapel, or walk our 1.8 km Loop Trail with a dozen inspirational stations. Sanctuary Cove is located on Scenic Drive, adjacent to Saguaro National Park West.
Sanctuary Cove offers low-cost permits for photographers, memorial services, weddings, and overnight stays at our renovated adobe brick cottage. Proceeds from these activities are our sole income source and support our spiritual mission.
In addition to the access we offer—free of charge and unencumbered—to the public, we also provide several events designed to provide a communal worship experience.
